- Use Application Runtime Expert to validate your environment
|
- Review your browser security settings. For details see the following web page:
- Allow pop-ups for exporting files and creating Reports
- Close unneeded tabs in Navigator session
- Tasks in tabs consume resources and may cause performance degradation if too many are open
- Do not use PF-5 to Refresh a panel
- Instead use the Refresh button found on Navigator list panels
- Always clear your browser cache after Navigator updates have been installed
- Or run in Chrome - Incognito mode or Firefox - private mode
- Close the Dashboard tab if you do not need it
- It consumes system resources since it is periodically pinging the system status
- Keep current on group PTFs!
- Use the Web Performance Advisor to validate your Web Performance
- Ensure QMAXACTLVL system value is set to *NOMAX
- This value is the number of jobs/threads that can simultaneously compete for memory and CPU.
- Performance management on IBM i
- Disable IPv6 if not needed/used
