Recommendations

These recommendations are based on your system already having installed the most current Cumulative PTF Package, HIPER PTF Group, and Database PTF Group. For further information or to order these PTFs, you should follow this link:
The IBM i Global Support Center recommends installing the group and individual fixes listed below for corrective service and preventive maintenance. If a problem persists after the recommended fixes have been installed, the IBM i Global Support Center can more efficiently diagnose the problem and extra fixes might be recommended.

The following PTFs are recommended print related fixes that address issues in the following areas:
 

TCP/IP LAN printing, which includes the PJL, SNMP, IPP, LPR print drivers, LPR/LPD printing, and iSeries NetServer print shares

Print/Spool, which includes general printing and spooling fixes

Host Print Transform (HPT)

PDF Transform Services, which use Transform Services

Advanced Function Printing and IPDS printing, which uses Print Services Facility/400 (PSF/400)
