Resolving The Problem
IBM Netfinity EXP15 Rack Storage Enclosure (P/N 3520-2RU, 2RX)(withdrawn)
Replaced by Netfinity EXP200
The EXP15 is an external, rack-drawer, data storage unit containing 10 hot-swap drive bays that support both half-high and slim-high 7200 rpm or 10000 rpm SCSI disk drives. This storage unit can be expanded to support hot-swap data storage of up to 182 GB(1) per storage unit. The Netfinity EXP15 is contained in a compact 3 U mechanical that is supported in the Netfinity Rack, the Netfinity NetBAY3(TM), and Netfinity NetBAY22.
The Netfinity EXP15 features these high-availability attributes:
- Hot-swap hard disk drive bays to support RAID solutions
- Hard disk drive options with Predictive Failure Analysis(R) (PFA) that can
- alert the user of an impending drive failure
- Redundant, hot-swap 350 W worldwide power supplies and cooling fans
- Twin-tail capability for clustering applications
