Managing customizations

You can upload, download, and deploy your customization packages, such as OMS, Call Center, or next-generation Order Hub in the Self Service.

Downloading customization on the next-generation platform
Users with the Developer can download customization JAR file by using the Self Service to view or update the content of the file.
Uploading customization on the next-generation platform
Users with the Developer role can upload customization in the Self Service and then use it for deployment.
Viewing logs for uploading customization
Users with the Developer role can view the detailed logs in the Self Service for the process of uploading customization. The log displays status of all the stages of the upload process.
Deploying customization on the next-generation platform
Users with the Developer role can deploy a customization and can update their environment by using the Self Service. When you try to deploy a customization, the Self Service checks your environment and if you are not on the latest minor version within your OMS release, it provides you an option to update to one of the two most recent minor versions of the release.
Viewing logs for deploying customization
Users with the Developer role can view the detailed logs in the Self Service for the process of deploying customization. The logs are available for 30 days from the date of deployment. The log displays details for all stages of the process. Steps for each stage are displayed. After completion of each step, the stage is marked as complete. If any step fails, the stage is marked as failed.
Deploying customization or custom runtime image on the legacy platform
Users with the Developer role can either build and deploy a customized runtime or deploy an existing runtime image in the Self Service. When you build a customization, you have the option to deploy it immediately after it is built.
