Moving columns in a view

You can change the size of a column, reposition a column, or set columns to equal widths in a view.

About this task

For most CICS® resource table views, to change the size of a column, reposition a column, or set columns to equal widths in the currently active view, use the following procedure.

This procedure does not apply to the Resource Group Definitions view, Group List Definitions view, and a small number of older-style views, as listed in Changing specific resource views. For the procedure that applies to these views, see Moving columns in specific views.

Procedure

  1. Click the view tab to make the view active.
  2. Optional: To change the size of a column, click and drag the edge of the column header to the required size.
  3. Optional: To reposition a column, click and drag the column header to the required position.
  4. Optional: To set the columns to equal widths, click the Equalize Column Widths button in the menu icon menu button Equalize Column Widths option in menu button in the toolbar all menu options of the view.

What to do next

You can change columns further by adding or removing columns. You can also filter the content of the view by one or more resource attributes, and sort the content by one or more resource attributes.
