AI systems don’t fail because models are weak. They fail because the context is wrong.
As agentic AI moves from experimentation to production, teams are discovering a new class of data problems. Context is scattered across operational databases, APIs, and vector stores. It’s stale by the time it reaches the model and expensive to recompute. Most architectures weren’t designed to continuously assemble.
This talk introduces context engineering as a practical, systems-level discipline focused on solving these data challenges. Rather than treating context as static input, context engineering treats it as a continuously computed product, derived from live business signals and served with low latency to AI systems.
We’ll focus on the role of streaming and event-driven architectures as the foundation for this approach.

A ride goes down. Within seconds, guests self-redirect, standby lines back up, and Lightning Lane return times go stale, all before a batch report would even refresh.
In this session, we'll demo an AI agent answering live operational questions directly against streaming Kafka data: ride status, guest queues, and return-time feeds, queried via SQL with no ETL or custom pipeline in between. We'll trigger a ride-down event live and show the agent recommending guest redirection in real time. Then we'll show what the same question would've returned off a 15-minute-old batch table, and why that stale answer would have sent guests straight into the ride that's already flooding.
If your parks teams are exploring how to make agentic AI actually useful against the operational data you're already streaming, this session shows where real-time context isn't a nice to have. It's the difference between a right answer and a wrong one.
