Getting started with Event Endpoint Management

Event Endpoint Management provides the capability to describe and catalog your Kafka topics as virtual topics, and to grant access to application developers within your organization. Application developers can discover virtual topics and configure their applications to access them through the Event Gateway. With Event Endpoint Management, you can control access to your virtual topics, and what data they produce or consume.

Before you begin

To use Event Endpoint Management on IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration, you must have Event Endpoint Management provisioned in the IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration environment, and have a user with access to the Event Endpoint Management UI. For more information about provisioning Event Endpoint Management in IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration and configuring users, see the IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration documentation.

Tip: For an example of how to get up and running with Event Endpoint Management, you can follow the getting started tutorial.
