Managing user access
Event Endpoint Management user access is managed in IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration, for more information see the IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration documentation.
User roles
Event Endpoint Management supports the following roles:
- Viewer: Users with the
viewerrole have access to the Event Endpoint Management UI and shared resources. - Author: Users with the
authorrole have the same permissions as theviewerrole, and are also able to create and share their own resources in the Event Endpoint Management UI. - Admin: Users with the
adminrole have permissions to view and manage Event Gateways and organization-level CA certificates for mTLS controls.
Users can have multiple roles, for example a user with the admin and
author role can manage Event Gateways and source
topics.
The Event Endpoint Management user roles map to IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration user roles as follows:
