Editing in the module window
To edit in the module window, double-click the attribute that you want to edit, and then change its value. To change the value of an attribute for several objects or for all the objects in a module, use the object properties sheet. To edit the value of an attribute, you must have modify access to both the object and the attribute value.
- To append text to the end of the text in the main column, select an object and start typing.
- To edit the next object in the module, press Shift+Enter.
- To edit the attribute in the next column, press Ctrl+A.
- To accept the edits you made to the current object, press Ctrl+M, or click another object or attribute.
- To discard the edits you made to the current object, press Ctrl+D.
- To change the value of the current attribute to the default value for that attribute, click . If the attribute does not have a default value, the current value is deleted.
- To edit the Object Heading for the current object, press Ctrl+H.
- To edit the Object Text for the current object, press Ctrl+T.
To format text, use the icons on the formatting toolbar. You can apply bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, superscript, and subscript. You can also apply bullets to lists, and increase or decrease the indentation of text in columns.
To cut, copy, and paste text, use the usual options in the Edit menu or the usual shortcuts (Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, and Ctrl+V).
Objects with unsaved changes have a red change bar . To save changes, press Ctrl+S.
