Contract #: 80TECH26D1260
The NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, commonly pronounced “soup,” provides Federal agencies and their authorized contractors with access to the latest Information Technology, Communications, and Audio-Visual (ITC/AV) products and services. Established in 1993, SEWP I was the Federal Government’s first Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) focused on technology solutions. Initially created to provide technology products to NASA and other Federal agencies, the program has continually evolved over the past three decades, expanding its scope and capabilities to meet the changing needs of government customers.
Today, SEWP represents a model of acquisition innovation across the Federal Government. The program is self-funded through a 0.34% contract surcharge and supports agencies by providing acquisition assistance and streamlined procurement processes. SEWP facilitates more than 50,000 orders annually for Federal customers nationwide.
As a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), NASA SEWP VI is subject to Fair Opportunity requirements in accordance with FAR 16.505(b). The most efficient method for meeting these requirements is through NASA’s Quote Request Tool (QRT), which enables agencies to easily solicit and compare vendor quotations.
Additional information, including access to the QRT, contract resources, ordering guidance, and program updates, is available on the NASA SEWP website.
