Celebrate and collaborate

Included in your full conference registration, you can join us for IBM TechXchange Community Day and the IBM Business Partner Program on September 11, 2023 These pre-conference activities unite diverse IBM user groups and technical communities, including the Open Mainframe Project, CASCON Community and IDUG User Group (offering DB2 certification exam), and IBM Business Partner specific programming to foster collaboration, networking, and learning.

Experience engaging on-site programs, connect with like-minded professionals, be inspired by IBM Champions, and contribute to tech-for-good projects. This is a celebration of unity, diversity, and innovation where user groups come together to create lasting connections and drive meaningful change.

We invite all IBM User Groups to participate in the Community Day program. On-site meeting space will be provided, enabling your group to self organize, set your agenda, and focus on the technology topics closest to you.

As part of IBM TechXchange Conference 2023, on the pre conference day, September 11th, there is an afternoon of technical sessions designed just for partners, including a closing session by Dr. Ruchir Puri, Chief Scientist of IBM Research and Vice President of IBM Corporate Technology. On the agenda: exploring IBM watsonx; exciting proficiency badging workshops about the adoption of Generative AI and emerging open technologies; “Hidden Technical Gems” in Partner Plus; and much more.

At the end of the day, Join us from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the TechXchange Sandbox Grand Opening and network with the IBM Partner community, technical leaders. All are welcome.

Pre-Conference

Early access hands-on labs

Get in from the start in our Hands-On Lab experiences beginning on Monday morning with three more time slots throughout the day. Certification testing will begin on Tuesday to provide sufficient time for preparation, and will run through Thursday.

Business Partner proficiency badging workshops

On the pre-conference day, September 11th there is an afternoon designed for partners, hosted by Dario Gil, SVP and Director, IBM Research! On the agenda: exploring IBM watsonx; exciting proficiency badging workshops about the adoption of Generative AI and emerging open technologies; “Hidden Technical Gems” in Partner Plus; and much more.

IBM Business Partners will also receive hands-on training from technical experts with the opportunity to prepare for and earn Level 3 Partner Proficiency badges. Partners can grow their product storytelling and demonstration abilities in an engaging manner while expanding their technical knowledge. Topics include watsonx.data, Maximo, Instana, QRadar SIEM. Pre-registration is required. Learn more and add it to your personalized conference agenda.

Participants will receive added tips and coaching to better demo and engage clients along with opportunities to:

  • Learn from experts in a focused interactive environment, in an expedited format.
  • Prepare for Proficiency Badge completion and/or complete the quiz and the badge together as a group; learning from one another in real-time.
  • Experience enhanced learning format building from the existing content and courses available online in the Business Partner learning portal.
  • Earn a Badge! If participants complete all the requirements for the Proficiency badge chosen, they can earn the related badges.
