Configuring the environment by running the setup wizard

The setup wizard runs automatically the first time that you log in to the virtual machine. The setup wizard helps you configure network settings for running the product.

1. Log in as root:
   1. At the localhost login prompt, enter root.
   2. At the password prompt, enter mfqa4you!.
   The Setup wizard starts.
2. When the Welcome screen opens, press Enter. The license agreement is displayed.
3. Read the license agreements. To scroll down, use the Down Arrow key. To accept each license agreement, press Enter. The information page displays the location of the license agreement text (/opt/IBM/MFQA/license/license.txt). Press Enter to continue.
4. In the Setup hostname window, you can change the host name by entering a new value in place of the default value, localhost. To save the new host name, select OK, and then press Enter. When a message displays that states that the host name is changed, press Enter.
5. In the Setup network configuration window, select one of the following options, and then press Enter:
   • DHCP

     If you selected DHCP, then the following message is displayed: Device eth1 has been setup with DHCP.. Press Enter to continue.

   • Static
     If you selected Static, then enter values for the following settings:

     • IP
     • Network
     • Gateway
     • DNS1
     • DNS1
     • DNS search path

     To submit the values, press Tab and then press S. To cancel, press Tab and then press C.

     Confirm the values for the static host configuration. To change values, press N. Otherwise, press Y.

   If you are updating the network settings, a message asks whether you want to overwrite the existing network settings. Press Enter to continue.

   A message displays that states Device eth1 has been setup with your choice of network configuration. Press Enter to continue.

6. A message displays that states that you can change the network setting at any time by running system-config-network. Press Enter to continue.
7. You are prompted to change the password for the root user ID.
   1. Press Y, and then enter a new password.
   2. Reenter the new password.
   When the password is changed, press Enter.
8. You are prompted to change the password for the utest user ID. The utest account is used for maintaining the MobileFirst Quality Assurance service.
   Note: You must set the password before you can log in with the utest user ID.
   1. Press Y, and then enter a new password.
   2. Reenter the new password.
   When the password is changed, press Enter.
9. On the Setup Token Licensing page, select one of the following options:
   • Select Yes to enable able token licensing. You are then prompted to enter the server information:
     • In the Name field, enter the host name or IP address of the Rational License Key Server.
     • If necessary, change the value in the Port field. The default port of Rational License Key Server is 27000.
   • Select No to disable token licensing.
10. On the Reboot page, press Y to restart the virtual machine.
