Loading and starting the VM

You must load and start the VM image OVA file on your virtualization software before you can set up IBM MobileFirst Quality Assurance.

To load and start the VM image:

1. Load the VM image OVA file according to the instructions that are provided with the virtualization software.
2. Optional: Change the RAM and CPU settings for the VM.
3. Start the VM according to the instructions that are provided with the virtualization software.
4. After the VM and operating system starts, log in by entering root on the command line.
   Tip: The default password is mfqa4you!. You change the default password during the setup process.
   If you are logging in as root for the first time, then the MobileFirst Quality Assurance setup wizard starts automatically.
