Problem
This document provides Brocade SAN Switch Module troubleshooting information.
Resolving The Problem
- To begin troubleshooting, check the following top issues. If your issue is listed, select the link, otherwise proceed to step 2.
The Brocade SSM hardware is the same for the entry and enterprise products (90P0165 / 26K5601). The differences are in the default configurations and licenses for the optional components that can be deployed on the SSM.

- Entry model
- Check the Hardware Status and Port Status LEDs. The Brocade SSM offers LEDs to assist in diagnosing in the event of a failure.
