This document describes how to download IBM Verify Directory, Version 11.0.1.2 and the pre-requisite products from Fix Central.

Overview

IBM Verify Directory provides a trusted identity data infrastructure for authentication. It includes Directory Server, which is the IBM implementation of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) for the supported operating systems.

To access a wide variety of technical resources for this product, see the IBM Verify Directory Documentation.

IBM Verify Directory Editions:

  • Limited Edition: This edition contains Directory Server with the following features:
    • Directory Server with RDBM instance capability
    • Proxy server
    • Ability to record last successful authentication time stamp in user entries
    • Advanced password policy rules
  • Standard Edition: This edition includes everything provided in the Limited Edition as well as the following premium feature:
    • Pass-through authentication
  • Enterprise Edition: This edition includes everything provided in the Limited and Standard Editions as well as the following premium features:
    • Virtual Directory Server
    • With this edition, you are entitled to download IBM Verify Directory Integrator (VDI) V11.0.0 and use the following features of VDI for IBM Verify Directory based solutions:
      • Federated Directory Server
      • SCIM service
      • Directory Synchronization

Downloading and assembling the product

  1. Use the tables in this document to find the downloadable images that you require.
  2. IBM Verify Directory 11.0.1.2 software refresh images are available from Passport Advantage (expected to be available on 5-Oct-2026) and Fix Central.
  3. Some installable components, such as DB2, are provided through IBM Fix Central.
  4. Download all required and optional parts for your deployment. A description of each part is provided in the tables in this document. For more information about the various components, see Installation package information.
  5. Extract each downloaded part to a temporary directory.
  6. Follow the instructions for either updating an existing 11.0.1.x deployment or installing a new deployment directly at the 11.0.1.2 level.
