Abstract
Serviceability component allows setting up properties for connections as well as customizing the Navigator and Java toolbox log files.

Serviceability
The Serviceability section is denied for default access. Only user profiles with *ALLOBJ special authority are able to see this section by default. Normal user profiles need to be added to the QIBM_NAV_SERVICEABILITY function usage ID. This authority is required to view Navigator Log files. See Function Usage IDs.
Connection Properties
General
General tab has settings for Session timeout and Concurrent sessions
Session timeout interval (minutes)
- This defaults to 30 minutes.
- This is a per-user setting.
- A user is required to have function usage access to QIBM_NAV_SERVICEABILITY to change this setting for their profile.
Maximum concurrent sessions for signed-on user
- This determines the number of separate sign-in sessions that can be opened for a user. Concurrent sessions are separate logins for the same user on different browsers.
- Opening a current session in a new tab shares the session data, so does not apply to this count.

TLS Connection

Navigator Nodes tab
- Use this to configure TLS Enablement for all connections from the GUI node to any managed nodes. This includes the GUI node itself. For secure communications with the host servers, turn this On.
- To turn on TLS for all users on this GUI node or any managed node, set Use TLS For All Users.
Digital Certificate Manager tab
- Turn on TLS enablement for Digital Certificate Manager and restart Admin3 server from this tab.
