- Stay on the latest monthly release: Per IBM’s Continuous Delivery Support Lifecycle Policy, the latest product maintenance, security updates, and new functionalities are delivered only through the most recent CD update package making it essential for customers to stay current, especially during peak periods to ensure timely support and operational stability.
- Follow the Best Practices Guides for both Sterling Order Management System (OMS) and Sterling Intelligent Promising (SIP) containers to minimize risk and ensure peak performance.
- Review compatibility reports and ensure your environment is on supported stack and versions.
- Check your Kubernetes or OpenShift stack to confirm you are running supported versions.
- Ensure correct versions are in use for external services (e.g., JMS, databases, Kafka, Elastic search)
- Review the "What’s New" sections for OMS and SIP to understand recent fixes and improvements that may benefit your workloads.
