Detailed System Requirements
Abstract
This page details the IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency Service supported source requirements.
Content
IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency Service is a managed platform that provides cyber-resiliency capabilities for the management of systems in your environment. The systems are sources that can be connected to Data Resiliency Service. The sources are used to collect metadata about the environment and its data resources and are categorized as according to the storage type such as storage systems, backup systems and virtual machines.
IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency Service supports the following storage systems source types:
IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency Service supports the following backup systems source types:
Note: IBM Storage Defender support for third-party operating systems, applications, services, and hardware depend on the respective vendor. If a third-party product or version moves into extended support, self-service support, or end-of-life, IBM Storage Defender supports the product or version at the same level as the vendor. See also IBM Support General Guidelines and Limitations - IBM support for software on unsupported operating systems.
