Preventive Service Planning
Abstract
This document provides information on the latest available maintenance for IBM MQ products alongside future planned maintenance. These planned dates are subject to change. IBM updates this page as soon as changes to release dates are known.

From 2023 there are two types of IBM MQ maintenance: Fix Packs and Cumulative Security Updates (CSUs). As Cumulative Security Updates are delivered only when required in response to a disclosed security vulnerability, they are not given a planned date.

To identify the target maintenance delivery of a Known Issue (code fix), refer to the published Known Issue page. If you require further assistance determining the delivery target, you can open a case or connect with a support agent through the IBM MQ Support portal.
Base Support releases
For releases in their base support period, IBM provides regular maintenance.

Extended Support releases
For releases that are in their extended support period, and eligible for new bug fixes as defined by the IBM Extended Support policy, IBM provides relevant security updates as additional CSUs.
