New feature enhancements

'Click N Key' functionality for batch verification
You can set 'Click N Key' as a default tool when the batch is opened in the Verify pane in Datacap Navigator, so that you don't have to click the 'Click N Key' each time you want to select text for manual extraction.
Fore more information, see Enabling the Click N Key functionality.
New registry variable added for action SplitBatch
By default, this action follows alpha-decimal format for numbering the child batches such as such as .01, .02, .0A. If you want to change it to decimal based format such as .0001, .0002, .0003, etc, then change the value of the following key to 1.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Datacap\TMS\InterThread\NumericChildBatchNaming

Default value of specified key is 0, which follows alpha-decimal behavior. Anything other than 1 is considered as the alpha-decimal numbering behavior. For more information, see action help.

Viewing other users' batches

This feature enables users to view other users' batches placed either on hold status, pending status or hold-to-pending status so batches can be reassigned in Datacap Desktop application when required.

New batch summary reports added to Report Viewer

Two new reports are added to the Report Viewer. Batches Summary report displays a list of all the batches including pending batches and its respective metadata. Batches Summary Today report displays a list of all the batches including pending batches that ran on today's date.

Prerequisites for IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.7, interim fix 007

Installing IBM® Datacap 9.1.7, interim fix 007

Procedure
A - Steps to upgrade to Datacap IBM 9.1.7 interim fix 007:

  1. Extract Datacap.zip and then execute the update.bat inside it.
  2. Once files are copied successfully, installation of interim fix will be initiated. Use the installer UI to complete the installation.
Note:
Ensure removal of any white space in file/folder paths. Paths cannot be accessed if there is space in path names.
B - Upgrading dynamic Web TWAIN to the latest version

Datacap 9.1.7 interim fix 007 now includes Dynamsoft Service version 1.5.21215.
