Installing Dynamic Web TWAIN V15.2 on Windows OS

You must complete one of the following steps for installing Dynamic Web TWAIN V15.2 on a Windows operating system. To install on Mac OS, see the topic Installing Dynamic Web TWAIN V15.2 on Mac OS.

Procedure

  1. Installation before launching Scan client.
    1. If you have older version of the Dynamic Web TWAIN installed then go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall it.
    2. Get a copy of the file DynamsoftServiceSetup.msi from tmweb.java sub folder in your IBM Datacap installation home directory.
    3. Run the DynamsoftServiceSetup.msi file on your workstation to install the Dynamsoft Service.
  2. Launch Scan client and then follow the prompts to install.
    1. Log on to your Datacap application ICN desktop.
    2. Launch the Scan client. You are prompted to download and install the DynamsoftServiceSetup.msi file. Follow the prompts to install.

What to do next

Verify the installation by checking in Programs and Features for the existence of Dynamsoft Service version 1.5.0924 and under Windows Services, verify Dynamsoft Service is running.
