Following is the list of products and options that need to be installed in order to use all functions in IBM Navigator for i.

It is recommended that you keep current on the Group PTFs listed on the IBM Navigator for i PTFs page.

New version IBM Navigator for i running on ADMIN1 will run on the highest Java version installed:

  • 64-bit Java™ 17 - 5770JV1 option 20
  • 64-bit Java™ 11 - 5770JV1 option 19
  • 64-bit Java™ SE 8 - 5770JV1 option 17
Java™ PTF latest group PTF
Heritage version running on ADMIN2 will run only on 64-bit Java™ SE 8.
& Extended Base Directory Support

jt400Native.jar - resides in /QIBM/ProdData/OS400/jt400/lib.
