Abstract

This document lists IBM WebSphere Application Server v8.5 Java SDK Version 8, version 7.1, and version 7 i-fix packages for WebSphere Application Server V8.5

Download Description

This document lists IBM WebSphere Application Server v8.5 Java SDK Version 8, version 7.1, and version 7 i-fix packages.  Install the Java SDK package for your operating system by using IBM Installation Manager.

  • Java 8 Bundled: Java SDK 8 bundled offerings for WebSphere Application Server traditional installed by default with the product since 8.5.5.14. Intended for parties interested in using a specific desired Java 8 version bundled with WebSphere.
  • Java 8: Java SDK 8 extension offerings for WebSphere Application Server traditional. Intended for parties interested in using Java 8 with WebSphere in addition to the bundled java offering. Since WebSphere 8.5.5.14, the default Java bundle is Java SDK 8 making this offering obsolete. (Out of support February 2021. The last i-fixes published are 8.0.6.25. Please use the bundled offering.)
  • Java 7.1: Java SDK 7.1 extension offering for WebSphere Application Server traditional. Intended for parties interested in using Java 7.1 with WebSphere in addition to the bundled java offering.
  • Java 7: Java SDK 7 extension offering for WebSphere Application Server traditional. Intended for parties interested in using Java 7 with WebSphere in addition to the bundled java offering.
