Abstract
Event log does not show triggered events when thresholds are exceeded

If you are having a problem with triggered events not showing up in the Monitor event log, restart the Monitor job. Especially if you can see instances that the threshold is exceeded, but no trigger is occurring.
First, end the monitor server with:
> CALL PGM(QSYSDIR/QNAVMNSRV) PARM(*STOP) - New IBM Navigator for i Monitor
CALL PGM(QSYSDIR/QINAVMNSRV) PARM(*STOP) - heritage Navigator Monitor
Then, end and restart the ADMIN1 server:
> ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*IAS) INSTANCE(ADMIN1)
> STRTCPSVR SERVER(*IAS) INSTANCE(ADMIN1)
Monitors might not be triggered correctly if the IBM Navigator PTF is installed without first stopping the Monitor job.
