ImpactDescription
This is a service release. It contains new features as well as fixes for client-reported and internally found defects.

Test Results

Definitions

Regression: An error in the Maintenance Delivery Vehicle (MDV) that produces incorrect or unexpected behavior causing a supported feature to stop functioning as designed.
This includes:

  • Coding errors that cause a regression
  • Documentation or packaging problems that cause a regression
  • Errors reported in a new function delivered in a MDV that cause a regression

Incomplete: An error in the MDV has not regressed, but does not work as designed.
This includes:

  • Fixed APARs which did not solve the original problem but did not break anything new
  • APARs reporting documentation errors, such as readme errors, that cause problems applying an MDV but do not lead to a regression

Notes:

  • Regression and incomplete APARs are considered fix-in-error or MDV-in-error
  • Definitions above apply only to valid APARs that result in product fixes (APARs returned as working-as-designed are not assessed for being fix-in-error)
  • Issues in major releases due to new functionality do not apply in this definition

There are no known regressions to report.

  1. Failure to load License Manger in AIX, z/OS and PPCLinux
  2. If the IBM Host On-Demand server is accessed using the Host On-Demand Administration console from Non-Windows clients, the services status shows as "Unknown". This behavior is inconsistent, and users cannot start/stop the services.
  3. Following the upgrade to HOD Hex Client 16.0.0.0, the Keyboard Remap "Choose File" button is unresponsive across all supported browsers. For more information, please refer to the “Choose File” Button Not Working for Keyboard Remap in HOD Hex Client 16.0.0.0 technote.
  4. In this release, the IBM WebSphere Application Server HACPEE and License Manager configuration is not supported on OS/400, zLinux, and z/OS operating systems.
  5. While installing or modifying (Add, Remove, Configure, Uninstall) Host On-Demand, the Deployment Wizard and HACL Toolkit display an error message. Refer to the Installing and Uninstalling Host On-Demand Windows Server 2025 technote for more information.
  6. When navigating between the Multiple Instance panel and the Language panel during installation, the selected language is not retained if the user switches from New Instance to upgrading an already installed product.
