Abstract

This document describes how to download and install IBM® Data Server Manager from IBM developerWorks and IBM Fix Central.

Download Description

Data Server Manager is an integrated database management tools platform for IBM Db2®. It is simple to set up, easy to use, and enterprise ready with the ability to manage hundreds of databases.

Downloading Data Server Manager from IBM developerWorks

  1. Log into IBM developerWorks.
  2. Select the appropriate Data Server Manager file and click Download now.
  3. Follow the instructions in Installing and upgrading IBM Data Server Manager to install the product.

Downloading Data Server Manager from IBM Passport Advantage

IMPORTANT: Before you start, verify that you have an IBM ID, and that the Passport Advantage primary contact at your company granted your IBM ID. If you do not have an IBM ID, you can create one at the Passport Advantage site.

  1. Log into IBM Passport Advantage Online using your IBM ID and password.
  2. Download the parts that you need to install IBM Data Server Manager.
    If you are not familiar with Passport Advantage, view a short tutorial on Downloading Products from Passport Advantage from the IBM Electronic Support Channel on YouTube. You can also download the video directly from IBM Electronic Support.
  3. Follow the instructions in Installing and upgrading IBM Data Server Manager to install the product.

Note: You can download the license activation kit (LAK) only from Passport Advantage under IBM Data Server Manager or IBM Performance Management Offering bundling.
