Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 web services client application * * using JMS transport timeToLive parameter * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The JMS timeToLive may be set to the * * request timeout unexpectedly. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** If the timeToLive is larger than the request timeout, it is reduced to the timeout value. If timeToLive in the URL is set to 0, it is replaced with the request timeout value. The default timeToLive value should be 0. Example endpoint URL: Endpoint Address: jms:/queue?destination=jms/testQ&connectionFactory=jms/testMQ&ta rgetService=MyServiceSOAP&timeToLive=0
Problem conclusion
The timeToLive value is now honored and not adjusted by request timeout. For one-way requests, the default value of 0 is used. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.13.
