What are the IBM AIX Support offerings
An IBM® AIX® Software Maintenance Agreement (SWMA) provides Breakfix support (problem identification and fixes) for current AIX release levels. For details on how fixes are delivered, refer to the AIX Service Strategy, and for information on How technical questions (Q&A) are handled, see the IBM Support Guide.
IBM also offers Proactive and Expert Care Support Offerings options. These currently include an assigned Technical Account Manager, monthly reports, quarterly meetings, warnings for known issues, as well as other proactive services.
IBM recognizes that clients may require additional support beyond the scope of these offerings. For examples of such services, please refer to IBM Additional Service offerings.
