Some tables in z/OSMF provide a Paste, Paste
Before, or Paste After action that
you can use to insert the items that are stored on the clipboard into
a table. You can only copy and paste or cut and paste within a z/OSMF task tab.
Procedure
- Complete
one of the following actions:
- If the table provides
a Paste action,
select it from the Actions menu.
- If the table
provides a Paste Before and Paste
After action, first select the item to insert the copied
items before or after. Then, select Paste Before or Paste
After from the Actions menu or context menu.
If you are working with the non-tree view
of a tree
table, the Paste, Paste Before,
and Paste After actions are disabled after
you sort or filter the table.
- To
paste the items again, repeat Step 1.
The items remain on the clipboard until you cut or copy other items
to the clipboard or close the task tab.
Results
The
items cut or copied to the clipboard
are displayed in the table according to the sort and filter criteria
specified. If an item to be pasted duplicates the name of an item
contained in the table, an underscore (_) and a number are appended
to the name of the item being pasted.
