Points to remember when a database reorg event is running
The OMS deployment process may be delayed or terminated when a database maintenance job is running. The OMS deployment that you are running can affect the database maintenance job, particularly, when the deployment involves entity changes such as altering or creating new indexes.
If the application is non-responsive during deployment process it may be interfered with the database maintenance activity. It is recommended to cancel the deployment and retry deploying at the end of the maintenance window.
Any activity that locks the database tables, slows down the database maintenance, and hinders performance. Hence, it is not recommended to load or purge large amounts of data when a database maintenance event is running.
