Personalization
Personalization is a process which marketers use to enhance visitor engagement by customizing the content of their delivery medium (for example, a website) based on the user interaction data.
Zones dashboard
Zones dashboard provides a summary view of zones and provides controls for user actions that are related to zones, such as viewing zone details.
Channels
A channel is the mode by which personalization is delivered, such as a website, email, or mobile text messages.

Segments
Segment is a group of visitors who have common browser behavior such as viewing the similar product or page or purchasing similar products.
Rules
Rules are a set of conditions that specify the criteria for showing personalized content to the channel visitors.
Control Group
A control group is a group who belong to a segment that is targeted for personalization, but held back from receiving the personalization. That group is then used as benchmark to measure how the other group of visitors, who did receive the personalization, performed.
Personalization Library
Personalization Library, formerly known as Online Engine (OLE), is a library in Acoustic Personalization that helps in rule matching and achieving personalization on the channel.
Acoustic Exchange
Acoustic Exchange, formerly known as IBM Universal Behavior Exchange (UBX) is a cloud-based service that provides a mechanism to selectively exchange event and identity data between various IBM and IBM Business Partner marketing automation and Analytics Solutions.
Click Rate
Click rate is a metric that indicates how many times a visitor clicked the personalized content or the default content on the zone.
Primary Goal
Primary goal refers to the metric you want to use to measure the effectiveness of personalization on your channel.
Maximum rule impressions
Maximum rule impression is defined as the maximum number of times a personalization rule is to be applied or run.
A/B test
A/B test is an experiment to test a visitor's response to variant A versus variant B and to determine which of the variants is more effective.
Product Recommendations
You can use Acoustic Personalization Product Recommendations to generate relevant product recommendations for your channel visitors based on their behavior on the channel and their browsing history.
