Primary Goal

Primary goal refers to the metric you want to use to measure the effectiveness of personalization on your channel.

As a channel owner, you may want to increase the number of visitors to your channel or the number of clicks on the personalized content, and so on.

Acoustic Personalization currently offers click count as the metric for primary goal. You can track and measure the clicks on the content displayed in the zones registered for personalization. Clicks are captured for both personalized and default content for the visitors belonging to the control and non-control group. You can see the click count in the Performance Analysis Reports to measure the impact of personalization on a zone.

You must configure your channel to capture and send the click events to Acoustic Personalization for processing. Acoustic Personalization also detects and manages the number of repetitive clicks within a session.
