1) On August 2nd 2018, the Colombian Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development published Resolution No.1407/18 which regulates the environmental management of wastepaper, cardboard, plastic, glass and metal packaging.
Pursuant to Article 2, this Resolution applies to waste packaging and primary, secondary, or single use sales packaging, intended as any paper, cardboard, plastic, glass and metal container, packaging or wrapping, domestic or imported, placed in the national market and which constitutes a sales unit to the final consumer.
Products imported by IBM contain the type of packaging listed above, all but glass.
To comply with Resolution 1470, IBM has joined the collective "Vision 30/30", part of "ANDI", for collection and recycling of wase packaging. You can find more information about this National Association of Colombian Entrepreneurs here:

IBM customers who buy or lease the products and will disposed the packing containing them, are able to do arrangements directly with Visión 30/30 for collection and proper recycling.
