Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY.She is interested in cross-disciplinary technology topics, spanning silicon to system architecture to achieve new solutions to traditional problems. Her team pursues hardware-software co-optimization to take the wait time out of machine and deep learning problems. She is also the author of Serious Games for Business, published in 2014 by Megan-Kiffer press. Boinodiris' earlier work in serious games are being used in over 1000 schools worldwide to teach students the fundamentals of business optimization. Boinodiris was honored by Women in Games International as one of the top 100 women in the games industry as she started the first scholarship for women to pursue degrees in game design and development in the US. James Wade is the Director of Application Hosting for GuideWell Mutual Holding Company, a not-for-profit health solutions company that serves 18 million people across 12 states, DC, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. His teams manage the mainframe, distributed systems, storage, databases, and web services that enable our members to have better health outcomes.

Some of his major focus areas since joining GuideWell in early 2016, have centered on improving the reliability and robustness of the technical infrastructure, standardizing the technology stack, and reducing the TCO of the tier one applications GuideWell deploys. The program will transform and replace the existing retail internet banking and small business internet banking platforms for TD America's Most Convenient bank from the host up. She is responsible for developing and delivering transformational OMNI initiatives, while identifying opportunities to leverage these new technologies across borders and channels. In 2016 we successfully launched the first part of the Program, our Universal App into production.

Chris Nowak

Chris has 20+ years in Change Management, SDLC & DevOps. He was Head of DevOps Services at 2 of the top 4 US banks where he designed, led and scaled services from the ground up, including service strategy, process optimization, organizational change, large-scale engagement / on-boarding, and operations.

At Wells Fargo (First Union, Wachovia), he automated 350 applications for the Trading, Securities and Investment Banking divisions. At Bank of America he led a combined organization of Automation Engineering, Systems, Engagement, and Deploy Operations. His teams automated and supported 800 applications from source to prod. Chris left BAC in 2016 to focus on large scale DevOps consulting.

Prior to his IT career, Chris served in the NY Army National Guard for 15 years, retiring as a captain and helicopter pilot. Chris holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and BS’s in Physics and Electrical Engineering. In 2014 he was awarded a US Patent in DevOps Methodology (USP #88755091).
