Downloading Network Manager

The procedure for downloading the product differs for General Availability (GA) releases, fix packs, and build numbers.

Note: If you use Network Manager as part of a solution, you must also check the compatibility of the versions of all component products in the solution documentation. For example, if you use Netcool Operations Insight, check the product and component version matrix for your version of Netcool Operations Insight at https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSTPTP.
Note: From Fix Pack 21 onwards, the download from Fix Central only updates a previous version of Network Manager. To install a new version of Network Manager, download it from Passport Advantage at https://www.ibm.com/software/passportadvantage/pao_customer.html. Note that downloads might be made available from Passport Advantage later than from Fix Central.

If you want to find the build number for your installation of Network Manager, run the following command:

$NCHOME/precision/bin/ncp_ctrl -version

The following example output shows a build number of 117, which corresponds to Fix Pack 11.
