Adding users to Planning Analytics

You must invite users to join IBM® Planning Analytics and then assign them to roles. Note: New for version 11.0.1, if you do not have a paid subscription to Cognos Analytics on Cloud, the role assignment is automated. The task specifying both administrative users and non-administrative users described in this document is not required. For more information about this subject, see How to manage users on integrated Cognos Controller on Cloud with Planning Analytics on Cloud.

Before you begin

Before you perform the following steps, you must invite the users to IBM Planning Analytics and they must accept the invitation. For information about how to add users to Planning Analytics, see Add and invite users (cloud only).
