Removing a display panel and cable from the NED24 NVMe expansion drawer

To remove a display panel and cable from the NED24 NVMe expansion drawer, complete the steps in this procedure.

Procedure

  1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
  2. To open the fan access door, lift the D-rings on top of the expansion drawer, and turn them in a counterclockwise direction.

  4. Remove the fan cage screws.
    1. Remove the two screws that secure the fan cage to the left side of the chassis.
    2. Remove the two screws that secure the fan cage to the right side of the chassis.
    3. Remove the two screws that secure the fan cage to the bottom of the chassis.
