MaaS360 security policies overview
MaaS360 provides security policies for iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows devices. These policies make sure that devices comply with corporate security policies and provide secure access to corporate data.
Using the security policies
All policies that are created in MaaS360 are displayed on the Policies page. From the List view, you can take the following actions on security policies: filter, sort, search, delete, or export.
Editing a policy in the Details view
MaaS360 displays a complete list of policy settings in the Details view. From this view, you can take the following actions on security policies: edit policy settings, rename the policy, view policy version and status, delete the policy, or export the policy.
Creating a security policy in the MaaS360 Portal
MaaS360 allows you to create and push security policies to devices in your organization.
Tracking the policy distribution status for devices
Administrators can view all devices that are in the scope for a policy and track the policy distribution status for those devices.
Bulk updating policies in MaaS360
Bulk update policies is the process of applying the same policy settings to multiple policies simultaneously.
Using policy precedence on devices
If a device is eligible for multiple policies of the same type through group based assignments, policy precedence decides which policy must be applied to that device.
Uploading policy files to the MaaS360 Portal
The Policy Files page displays the policy files (certificates, images, custom OMA settings) and policy settings for devices in the MaaS360 Portal. Administrators can upload content files to policy settings and then apply those settings to devices with this policy.

The Compliance Logs page displays a list of all devices that are currently out of compliance with rules that are configured by administrators.

The User Risk Management feature assigns a risk score to a MaaS360 user based on risky behaviors and patterns on their devices. This feature allows administrators to address security and compliance issues with devices that are exhibiting risky behaviors and patterns.
