Managing assets
You use the applications in the Assets module to manage the lifecycle of assets that are
owned or leased by you or your customers. You can specify and track locations for assets. You can
also use location profiles to reduce the production losses that can result from planned or unplanned
maintenance shutdowns.
Managing assets
To create and maintain asset numbers and corresponding information, you can use the Assets application. You can store asset numbers and corresponding information such as the parent, location, vendor, up or down status, and maintenance costs of each asset. You can build asset hierarchies. You can also reference multiple audits and surveys against an asset to maintain a complete history of that asset.
Managing locations
You can specify and track the location of assets. You can organize locations into logical hierarchical systems or network systems. With locations organized into systems, you can quickly find a location and identify the asset at that location. You can also reference multiple audits and surveys against a location to maintain a complete history of that location.
Managing production impact with location profiles
Location profiles contain information on production data. You can use location profiles to reduce the production losses that can result from planned or unplanned maintenance shutdowns.
Emissions management
You can create and track a variety of emissions. Emissions can be continuous or fugitive, such as a leak or spill. By tracking emissions, you can reduce the impact of long-term emissions or create investigations to plan corrective actions.
