Supplier Registration

Registration is about including new suppliers into the system and to use them for various kinds of operations that are supported by the Emptoris Supplier Lifecycle Management application.

You can register new suppliers into the system after analyzing them through questionnaires and, if found suitable, clearing them for registration. After a clearing process the supplier is added to the supplier list. Suppliers have to be registered in order to enter the Supplier Qualification process.

Supplier Registration Process
The registration process of a supplier involves collecting basic information from suppliers, clearing, and approving the supplier for registration. The complete registration process involves various tasks and with each task the status of the registration changes.
Clearing Registration Process
After the registration forms are filled up and submitted a clearing task is initiated and users are assigned to the clearing task.
Initiating Invited Registrations
You can initiate an invited registration for a supplier from the Supplier Qualification module.
Initiating Quick Registrations
You can initiate a quick registration for a supplier from the Supplier Qualification module.
Creating Spontaneous Registrations
Spontaneous Registration is done by suppliers from the Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform login screen.
Activating Spontaneous Registration Link
Internal users can create a spontaneous registration template and activate it on the login screen of the Emptoris Strategic Supply Management Platform from the System Settings menu.
Editing Participants
You can edit the participants in the Supplier Qualification module, when the registration status is Started, In-progress, or Finished. You must have at least one participant that has the Responsible, Respondent, and Releaser user roles.
Editing Master Data
You can edit the master data in the Supplier Qualification module, when the supplier registration status is Started, In-progress, or Finished.
Editing Timeline
You can edit the timeline in the Supplier Qualification module, when the supplier registration status is Started, In-progress, or Finished.
Clearing Registrations
After the supplier completes the registration form and submits it, a clearing task is created for the clearing staff.
Updating Supplier Registration Information
You can update the supplier registration information of the supplier by creating an ad hoc assessment series of the supplier.
Canceling Registrations
You can cancel a supplier registration, when the supplier registration status is In creation, Scheduled, Started, In progress (external), In progress (internal), In clearing, or Pending.
