Frequently asked questions

Customer Center is now IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS. It's a new name with an elevated design and all the same functionality.

Customer Center, the previous portal to your B2Bi SaaS applications, is no longer in service. If you still need to switch to B2Bi SaaS Hub, contact IBM Support and provide your IBMid to get started. In the meantime, check out these frequently asked questions.

How will I know when I should switch to B2Bi SaaS Hub?

When it's your turn, you'll see a full-page announcement titled "Ready for something new?" when you log in to Customer Center, complete with information about the process, your deadline to switch, and the ability to either switch immediately or temporarily postpone. If you opt to postpone your switch by clicking "Not now," you can still switch anytime from the Customer Center home page in the Notifications section, and you'll receive additional full-page reminders as your deadline approaches.

What is B2Bi SaaS Hub like?

It has a refreshed, modernized design, with easy access to notifications, help documentation, and IBM Support. And of course, it maintains all of the existing capabilities that you rely on.

Will I still have access to the same applications?

Yes! You will still be able to access the same applications, with the same user roles and permissions.

Your account settings, like your language and time zone, will stay the same as well.

Will this affect my company's data, or my access to that data?

No. We are merely changing the way you access your applications; your company's data will not be affected.

What happens if I don't switch by the deadline?

Even though Customer Center is no longer in service, you can still switch to B2Bi SaaS Hub. Contact IBM Support and provide your IBMid to get started.

When is the best time for me to switch?

Switch when you have 5 or 10 minutes to spare, and you aren’t in the middle of something you need to resolve immediately. If you already have an IBMid, make sure you have the email address and password handy.

Which browsers are supported?

B2Bi SaaS Hub supports the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari.

Will everyone in my company be switching at the same time?

Not necessarily; some people in your company may be prompted to switch before others, but this will not cause any issues.

What will change?

After you switch to B2Bi SaaS Hub, all you'll need to do is bookmark the new link and log in with your IBMid instead of your Sterling Customer Center account from that point forward. That's it!

What if I'm using a shared account?

IBM strongly discourages the use of shared accounts for security, data privacy, and auditing reasons. If you are using a shared account, ask your company admin or IBM Support to give you your own B2Bi SaaS Hub account by adding you as an B2Bi SaaS Hub user. You will then receive an email invitation to set up your B2Bi SaaS Hub account and create an IBMid if you don’t already have one. Each IBMid should only belong to a single person.

What if I have more than one Customer Center account?

B2Bi SaaS Hub allows you to link multiple accounts to your IBMid, so you no longer need to remember a separate email and password for each account. You can access all of your accounts when you log in with your IBMid.

Each Customer Center account can only be linked to one IBMid, so make sure to provide the same IBMid to IBM Support when you switch your accounts.

You can also link additional Customer Center accounts to your IBMid after you have switched to B2Bi SaaS Hub. For more information, refer to Linking additional accounts to your IBMid.

What is an IBMid? How is it different from my Sterling Customer Center account?

Your Customer Center account is what you previously used to log in to applications like InFlight, Document Tracking, and Business Transaction Intelligence. An IBMid is a separate account that you can use to log in to other IBM products and services, like IBM Support.

You may or may not already have an IBMid. They are not automatically generated, so if you have one, you would have created it.

You can contact the IBMid help desk for more information and assistance.

How do I know if I already have an IBMid?

If you can't remember whether you have an IBMid, try to create one. After you enter your email address, IBM will recognize if the email is already associated with an IBMid and you will be redirected.

If I create an IBMid, can I make it the same email address that I previously used to log in to Customer Center?

Yes! In fact, this may make your transition to B2Bi SaaS Hub even easier.

Will any of my applications be affected?

Only users who have multiple accounts with access to Document Tracking may be impacted.

If you have multiple Customer Center accounts with access to Document Tracking, and you want to link all of those accounts to your IBMid, a company admin can link additional mailslots to your IBMid or you can contact IBM Support for assistance.

Most users only have one account. If you only have one account with access to Document Tracking linked to your IBMid, no action is required, and you can continue to use Document Tracking as you did before.

Why is the Customer Center experience changing?

This change is an opportunity to bring you a refreshed, modernized design, while preserving existing features and functionality. And with IBMid, you'll only need one account to access all of your IBM products and services. Your organization can even take advantage of IBMid's federated authentication option, which would allow you to log in with your organization's login credentials.

Essentially, we would like to elevate and simplify your experience.

What should I do if I have questions or run into trouble?

You can always reach out to IBM Support with questions or concerns.

If I don't like it, can I go back?

B2Bi SaaS Hub will replace the current Sterling Customer Center experience, and after you switch, you will not be able to go back. However, your data, your application access, and the features that you rely on are unaffected; only the name and the design have been refreshed. Switch when you have 5 or 10 minutes to spare. We'll walk you through it and help you get acclimated when your switch is complete.
