Managing
You can plan and schedule work, manage building information model data, monitor
maintenance budgets, and use applications in
Maximo® Manage to
achieve your goals.
Using Maximo Manage
The IBM® Maximo Manage applications are grouped into modules. You can access the modules from the Go To menu in the Navigation toolbar of the user interface.
Managing Work Centers
With Work Centers, you can analyze data, manage inventory, manage assets and locations, and other tasks.
Planning and scheduling work
You can plan and schedule upcoming work in a graphical view.
Configuring default settings in the graphical view
You can specify the work and resources that appear in the data table of the Gantt view. The settings specified in the Configure Gantt Properties: Default Settings window apply to all schedules or work lists.
Managing building information model data
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process that manages the design and build phases of building construction projects. This process is used as part of the hand-over of the construction building from the contractors to the owners. It is during this process that you can import the data into Maximo Manage so that you can manage your facility and view the data in 3D.
Monitoring maintenance budgets
You can create budget records to monitor maintenance-related transactions in a financial period. Monitoring budget costs can help to ensure that projects or activities, such as work orders, are completed within an agreed budget and can improve estimation of the costs of future projects.
Using the AI assistant
Starting in 9.1, you can use the Maximo AI assistant in Maximo Manage , Maximo Health , Operational Dashboard, and asset dashboards. The assistant can respond to requests about work orders, service requests, and assets. Before you can use the assistant, an administrator must set up an AI configuration for the assistant.
Managing vegetation
Use IBM Maximo Vegetation Management to understand and assess the state of vegetation across your entire service area. Identify assets that might be at risk or impacted by vegetation overgrowth.
