Backup and restore issues:
  • After you install or upgrade Backup & Restore to version 2.8.0, the Kafka version may not be correct for the installed version of AMQ.
  • After you install or upgrade the IBM Storage Fusion to 2.8.0, the Backup & Restore service might get stuck during install and upgrade as following:
    • Installation of Backup & Restore service gets stuck at 75%.
    • Upgrade of Backup & Restore service gets stuck at 90%.
  • After you install or upgrade Backup & Restore to version 2.8.0, then the required OADP version might be lower than 1.3. This fixes Backup & Restore to be compatible with OADP 1.2 and below from the previous releases.

The IBM Storage Fusion 2.8.1 supports Global Data Platform 5.2.0.1. If you installed this 2.8.0 hotfix, then the upgrade option for Global Data Platform is not available in the 2.8.1version.
