IBM Storage Fusion and IBM Storage Fusion HCI 2.8.0 hotfix

Follow the below pre-requisites before you apply this hotfix:

1. From the mirroring host, run the following command to copy the Backup & Restore images to the artifactory.
   
   skopeo copy --insecure-policy --preserve-digests --all docker://cp.icr.io/cp/fbr/guardian-transaction-manager@sha256:65569645fb416cc7ed41acb1b181ba66d6bd7915a85c6e1bcae3e19856a0b5c6 docker://$TARGET_PATH/guardian-transaction-manager@sha256:65569645fb416cc7ed41acb1b181ba66d6bd7915a85c6e1bcae3e19856a0b5c6
2. Download the applypatch-280.sh and apply it as follows:
   • Download or copy the <applypatch-280.sh> to local folder.
   • Run the following command to apply the patch.
     Note: Make sure you are logged in to the cluster from CLI.
     
     chmod +x <applypatch-280.sh>
      

This hotfix fixes the following Backup & Restore issues:

1. After you install or upgrade Backup & Restore to version 2.8.0, the Kafka version may not be correct for the installed version of AMQ.
2. After you install or upgrade the IBM Storage Fusion to 2.8.0, the Backup & Restore service might get stuck during install and upgrade as following:
   • Installation of Backup & Restore service gets stuck at 75%.
   • Upgrade of Backup & Restore service gets stuck at 90%.
3. After you install or upgrade Backup & Restore to version 2.8.0, then the required OADP version might be lower than 1.3. This fixes Backup & Restore to be compatible with OADP 1.2 and below from the previous releases.
