You may use the search within IBM Support Portal, designed to be the most efficient search for support related information on ibm.com.
The information that is not relevant to your search is eliminated
from search results because the scope of your search is limited by
default to only the specific products, solutions, and services that
you have configured and enabled within Support Portal, making it
faster and easier to find the critical piece of information you
want. You may also search within all of the Support and downloads
information. From the search results page, you can
both refine the search query and/or filter the results based on the
task associated with the document.
Additionally, by logging into the IBM Support Portal, you can see information that is entitled for viewing only by IBM clients of that product (such as APARs , Registered Knowledgebase documents, or other entitled content).
If you are looking for a piece of content anywhere on the IBM web presence, you may use the ibm.com search located on the top right. Simply navigate to ibm.com and look for the search box in the masthead that appears on most pages. Keep in mind that this search covers all of IBM and its many products and services. Searching on a document number or specific error code is typically quite effective, but be prepared for numerous results if the search terms are fairly generic.
