Finishing off your WebSphere Application Server Messaging Engine startup problems

Hey WebSphere Application Server Messaging Engine (ME) users, have you ever had a problem during startup? The whole Service Integration Bus technology can be complicated. So, if you have encountered a startup problem then you probably have called IBM Support for help getting your ME to start. However, did you know that it is very likely that you did not need to do that? The chances are very good that you had all the information you needed to resolve the problem, on your own, but perhaps you just did not know it. Maybe you knew the information was there and just did not know what to look for or what to do when you found a problem.
Many of the ME startup problems are caused by either configuration or runtime issues or both. In an effort to help you help yourself, we have created a new Knowledge Collection document to combine a list of documents dealing with ME startup problems and what you need to do to resolve them. We have included several technotes that deal with startup problems and in those documents we tell you what to look for and what to do to correct those problems.
We also wanted to provide you with a list of some other information to help you learn more about this area in case you are interested in doing that. So we also included a number of links to webcasts replays or other documents and publications. These other items and links should help you better understand ME startup and the Service Integration Bus technology in general.
