Have you run into your clients telling you that they want to take back some of the control of alert conditions and task constructions from the programmers because no coding of apps done and controlled by programmers, no rule administration done and controlled by IT staff can meet business users' situational, personalized, ad hoc requirements?
If you have similar client situations, please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org). I love to collect up these examples and work with you to evaluate if Scribble on IISE as a potential solution.
Web tasking is to enable web users to freely task the same way they browse.
Scribble on IISE is the first implementation of web tasking. It is deployed on IBM Bluemix.
The following question is almost guaranteed: Is IFTTT a technology to be used for web tasking?
Good question! Here is a blog entry that I provided the answer: Can IFTTT, like Scribble on IISE, be considered as a technology for web tasking? Follow the link.

Scribble Board is the first implementation of a "web tasker" for web tasking, like the web browser for web browsing.
Scribble is how web user tasks. User can scribble by widget. Soon we will update a driver for users to scribble by text, and scribble by voice in the future.
IISE stands for IBM Interaction Server for Enterprise, the first implementation of a "web interaction server".

Please give us your feedback!
Many of us have experienced the limitations of web/mobile apps.
Programmers of the apps cannot always anticipate the resources I want to use in my task, nor can they always set up the alerts conditions that sufficiently address my situational requirements, let alone can they automate for me who to notify for the alerts. All in all, unless I, the web user, initiate interactions with the apps, nothing will get done for me! It's time someone birth a web intelligent agent or roBOT!
How to enable web users the freedom to task, with resources from across the web, the same way they browse? I coined the term "Web Tasking", as the answer to this question.
