IBM will be holding the first 2017 zSecure User Group meeting during the 2017 IBM Systems Technical University in Orlando on Thursday afternoon May 25 from 1:45pm to 5:30pm. The IBM Systems Technical University is a week long event taking place at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, Florida from Monday May 22 through Friday May 26. This event features an entire z/OS mainframe security track including sessions on zSecure, RACF, QRadar security intelligence, privileged user identity governance, multi-factor authentication, ICSF, PKCS #11, key management, and exciting new capabilities such as pervasive encryption and blockchain security.
The IBM zSecure User Group is a unique opportunity to collaborate with other clients and with IBM zSecure technical specialists that will enable you to better utilize the product, plan for the future and influence the direction of the product. The 3 session special zSecure User Group track at the Systems Technical University is comprised of the following sessions:
- Latest and greatest enhancements in zSecure V2.2.1, SSEs and interesting APARs - 1:45 PM with Hans Schoone, Julie Bergh, and David Rossi. Learn about recent enhancements to zSecure including real time QRadar reporting, compliance reporting, 64 bit addressing support, DB2 security currency support and more.
- Coffee Break 2:45-3:15 PM
- zSecure Strategy and Roadmap - 3:15 PM with Hans Schoone and Jason Keenaghan (requires NDA signed at the event). Gain insight into new exciting security capabilities planned for the future that are associated with the IBM security strategy including pervasive encryption, cognitive threat analytics and more.
- Requirements for future zSecure capabilities and voting - 4:30 PM with Hans Schoone and Jason Keenaghan
Influence the zSecure product management to include new functions and features you would like to see in a future release of zSecure. It is also an opportunity to ask the experts any questions you have about the solutions.
