Abstract: The ProtecTIER Solutions are designed to deliver in-line data de-duplication and replication with industry leading performance and scalability for both the midrange and enterprise data center.
If you have a need to understand the basics of the TS7650G as well as the new TS7610 and where they fit in your environment then this session is for you. This session will cover the fundamentals of de-duplication and replication. We’ll also discuss the steps necessary to size the solution correctly.

What's New in the DS3000 Disk Family?

This presentation will introduce the industry leading storage device based on SAS II (6Gbps) host and drive connectivity. The DS3500 will support SAS II, SAS II with iSCSI, or SAS II with Fibre Channel host connectivity. The Drive back end loops are all SAS II (6 Gbps) which with SAS II technology can produce up to 24 Gbps per loop. We have merged the host connectivity of the DS3200 (SAS I), DS3300 (iSCSI), and DS3400 (Fibre Channel) into one new product (DS3500). We will discuss the different controller models (DS3512 & DS3524), expansion enclosures (EXP3512 & EXP3524), 2.5 inch, 3.5 inch drives, new Storage Manager, and new premium features available on the DS3500.
