Join the Advanced Technology Group and Tape Experts to discuss the next level overview of the IBM TS7770 Tape Solution! This session, “IBM TS7770 Tape Solution Overview 201” will cover the advanced functions available through IBM’s tight synergy of zOS with the TS7700. An up-close examination of DFSMS’s management of tape drives, tape libraries, tape volumes and its interaction with Object Access Method (OAM).
To further enhance your TS7700’s understanding, we are expanding on the information covered in the last session, Tape 101 which can be found here (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7114113). We will be building on what is covered in this session (Tape 201) by digging deeper into the TS7700 and during our next session (Tape 301), we will cover a more in-depth exploration of advanced capabilities and features.
